Ford City & Kittanning Football should each finish the year 8-1. Ford City will actually end up a perfect 8-0 against WPIAL teams. Now the question is which seeds will these teams get in the playoffs? One thing to take into consideration is there are 5 AA Sections in the WPIAL. At last count 15 teams still had 1 loss or less. However the remaining 3 weeks should change that total a lot. Ford City will get the #1 seed out of the Allegheny conference, Aliquippa would somehow lose to Center they could get the #2 seed. Since Aliquippa has such a noted tradition there is no why the WPIAL would give Ford City the #2 over the Quipps if both where perfect in section play. The big thing for the Sabers is they better hope they can get the #3 seed, because if the WPIAL moves them to #4 and that's a real possibility....they would have to met Greensburg to get to Heniz field. Now where Kittanning will end up will be an equally interesting story the Story the Wildcats with only one lost could be the #2 seed which would mean they would be the #6 seed. However don't bet of that, chances are at three other three 2nd place section finishers will probably have only 1 loss. Look for Kittanning to be 8-10th seed given the WPIAL track record in seeding local teams.
The final 3 weeks could go a long way especially in Ford City's case to determine seeding so look for both teams to try for convincing wins. Kittanning will also hope to be one of the top 3 2nd place teams, and get a home playoff game.
