I warned everyone about this last spring when the schedules came out. Kittanning & Ford City Football people should have demanded to play on the final game of the season. Now if Kittanning doesn't host a home playoff game, they can blame the schedule. This was supposed to the week Kittanning would play Ford City. It would have the biggest game in history of the rivalry, the winner would have been conference champs: undefeated.
All the big natural rivals play on the last week.
USC vs. Mt. Lebo
North Allegheny vs. North Hills
Penn Hills vs. Woodland Hills
Jeanette vs. GCC
Burrell vs. Valley
Rodchester vs. Monaca
Springdale vs. Riverview
etc, etc, etc.....
Think about this, Kittanning would be undefeated and probably a consensus #3 in the WPIAL. That probably would have given them win or lose against Ford City a home playoff game.
