Pirates fall behind after 3 straight loses to the Brewers

Well so far this season it looks like the Buc's just don't have it. 13-17 and have only won 3 of their last 10. Lack of clutch hitting and pitching has been a major problem for the Bucs as well as poor performances from Adam LaRoche and Ronny Paulino. As we said at the beginning of the season everything had to go right for the Pirates to have a chance, so far a lot has gone wrong. Duke and Maholm have ERA's over 5.50. The big hitters have struggle even more, Paulino who looked ready to break out, is only hitting .217 and Chris Duffy at only .237 isn't setting the world on fire from the leadoff position. Besides Jack Wilson no other regular is hitting over .265. In other words there have been more disappointments then surprises to date, and Bucs should be thankful they only 4 games under . 500.
